Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering individuals, promoting independence and delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

With a strong presence in the community services sector, the organisation is dedicated to creating positive outcomes for people living with disability and those accessing essential support services.

About the Opportunity
As the NDIS Billing Coordinator, you will take ownership of the end-to-end NDIS billing and claiming process, ensuring services are accurately recorded, invoiced and claimed in accordance with NDIS guidelines.

Working closely with finance, rostering and operational teams, you will play an integral role in maintaining billing accuracy, resolving discrepancies and improving processes to support efficient service delivery.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity suited to someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems and contributing to meaningful community outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Respond to billing enquiries from participants, families, plan managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Improvement: Monitor billing performance, prepare reports and identify opportunities to streamline processes.

About You
We are looking for a highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate and efficient outcomes.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience in NDIS billing, accounts receivable or financial administration.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in NDIS billing, claims processing or a similar finance-related role.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS Pricing Arrangements, claiming requirements and compliance obligations.
  • Experience using PRODA and NDIS claiming systems, including bulk uploads and claims management.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
  • Excellent attention to detail, reconciliation skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting positive outcomes for people living with disability.
