As a People & Culture Advisor, you’ll support the wider People & Culture team and assist managers and employees across a variety of day-to-day HR matters.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and confidence across the employee lifecycle while receiving support from experienced People & Culture Business Partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to day-to-day People & Culture enquiries
- Providing practical support to managers and employees
- Supporting employee lifecycle activities and employment changes
- Assisting with employee documentation and correspondence
- Supporting the consistent application of policies, procedures and people processes
- Maintaining accurate employee records and supporting HR systems administration
- Assisting with employee relations and workplace matters, with support from experienced team members
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Building positive relationships with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation
- Supporting workplace safety, wellbeing and compliance activities
You don’t need to be an established HR Advisor to be successful in this role.
We’re looking for someone with a foundation in HR, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in developing a career in People & Culture.
You may bring:
- Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, or be working towards them
- Previous experience in an HR, People & Culture, recruitment or similar people-focused role
- An understanding of general HR practices and the employee lifecycle
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle information professionally and confidentially
- Confidence building relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and exposure to HR systems
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- A collaborative and customer-focused approach
