About the Role
As the Policy Governance Lead , you will take ownership of our controlled documents framework and champion best‑practice policy governance and document management across the organisation. Your work will be central in shaping high‑quality, consistent policies and procedures that support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the controlled documents framework.
- Manage policies, procedures, guidelines, and forms through the full document lifecycle.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create, review, and refine organisational documents.
- Ensure all documents are aligned with templates, standards, legislation, accreditation requirements, and organisational practices.
- Oversee our document management system, ensuring quality, accuracy, security, and accessibility.
- Maintain the document control register with correct versioning and metadata.
- Monitor external regulatory, legislative and accreditation changes and ensure timely updates.
- Recommend enhancements to our content management systems and documentation processes.
About You
We’re seeking someone who is detail‑driven, highly organised, and passionate about governance and documentation excellence.
You will have:
- Excellent writing, editing and formatting skills for policy and procedural documents.
- Strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Office).
- Experience with compliance, risk, or policy management frameworks.
- Well‑developed research skills and the ability to stay up to date with regulatory change.
- Strong time management and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- A collaborative approach, with confidence working across multiple business units.
- A process‑driven mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
