We are seeking highly organised and proactive Workforce & Scheduling Coordinators to join our team on a casual basis and play a vital role in ensuring quality support services are delivered to those who need them most. 
 
About the Role

As a Workforce & Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing staff rosters, ensuring clients receive the right support workers at the right time. You will work closely with support workers, host organisations, and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless service delivery across disability and aged care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and manage daily, weekly, staff rosters.
  • Match support workers to client and host organisation requirements based on skills, experience, and availability.
  • Respond quickly to roster changes, staff absences, and urgent shift replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with SCHADS Award requirements, fatigue management principles, and NDIS standards.
  • Act as a key point of contact for support workers regarding scheduling and shift allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with host organisations and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor staffing levels and identify potential workforce gaps or service risks.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and workforce documentation.
  • Escalate incidents or service concerns in line with company policies and NDIS requirements.
Essential Criteria
  • Previous experience in workforce planning, scheduling, rostering, or coordination within disability, aged care, community services, healthcare, or a similar sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and workforce management systems.
  • Knowledge of person-centred service delivery and NDIS practices.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
Desirable
  • Experience working within disability services, aged care, or community services.
  • Knowledge of SCHADS Award conditions and workforce compliance requirements.
  • Certificate IV or higher in Disability, Community Services, Business Administration, or a related field. 

Compliance Requirements 
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • Current National Police Check (Within 3 months)
  • Right to Work in Australia
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
